I created an Explosion box to hold a gift for a birthday.
This is how the box looks after cutting and decorating.
In order to get your box made, take a 12x12 piece of cardstock (I used a page that had brown shimmery-patterned rectangles) from the DCWV The Natural stackMeasure 4" in from each corner and 4" up. Each corner should have a 4" square cut out. Then score and fold your corners upright. This will be your base. See instructions below.
I used another piece from the same stack to make the top. The top is made using a piece cut at 6 1/4" x 6 1/4" with cut marks 1" in from each corner. It should fit nicely over the box once you cut, score, fold and glue the corners in place. Below is the video that goes over instructions for this box.
I decorated my box with K&Company die cuts with a Birthday theme called "Confetti."
My gift was a store-bought jar of a hair product to which I adhered some home-made labels with a vintage graphic I found on the internet.
The small orange flowers on the box top and the jar were cut from Spellbinders Shapeabilities "Floral Doily Motifs" using the two small inner circles dies.
So there you have your finished product. Imagine the possibilities for other occasions, and how surprised and happy the recipient will be to receive this lovely and thoughtful gift.
Thank you for visiting my blog and I hope it inspires you to create your own wonderful projects.
I'm just getting started with my Craft Blog, so be patient while I add my creations here for your viewing pleasure, along with easy instructions.
And, about me? I'm crazy, I'm silly, I'm funny, I'm cute, I'm brave, I'm sweet, I'm loud, I'm cheerful, I'm opinionated, I'm energetic, I'm annoying, I'm fun, and sometimes I'm not everything I wish I could be, but I'm everything I need to be; I'm just being me! Oh, yes; and I ♥ to make cards with all my different die cutting machines. Especially my Cuttlebug, Cricut, and my newly acquired Silhouette machine (plus shopping online for craft supplies on clearance)! But that's just me ☺!
An Angel Policy is the company’s (brand’s) way of saying “hey, you can buy our product, and we will let you use it to create hand crafted items, but you have to follow these rules if you plan on selling the crafts you make”. An Angel Policy is basically that company’s “permission document” or permission slip to use their products on crafts that you intend to sell.

Cricut® Angel Policy (Permissions)~
This Angel Policy still does not authorize you to produce and sell individual, unassembled cuts using Cricut products (i.e., mass producing individually-cut letters or shapes to re-sell). It does, however, authorize you to sell up to 10,000 completed projects annually (i.e., cards, scrapbook pages, finished cakes), using cuts made with Cricut products. This revision offers the most flexibility possible to those who wish to create and sell projects made using any of the Provo Craft products, while also protecting the creative ideas and images of the independent artists with whom we work to produce art for our cartridges.

Silhouette Products & Designs ~
COMMERCIAL USE POLICY
Please note that the designs offered through the Silhouette Online Store are protected by copyright and are owned by Silhouette America or its licensors. All digital designs are available for personal use. Some digital designs are available for commercial use also. Commercial use is defined as using the digital design in any physical project, product, artwork, etc. that is intended for resale or commercial use. Under no circumstances are you allowed to resell or distribute the files associated with digital designs offered by Silhouette. If you plan to use your Silhouette to create products which you will sell or use for commercial purposes, you must purchase a commercial license. If a commercial license is unavailable for a design, that design is limited to personal use. The royalty-free license fee is a flat one-time payment based on the number of units you will produce for resale. You may, of course, use the Silhouette to produce original projects for the purpose of reselling products made by the Silhouette so long as it is not a replication of an image offered by our company or its licensors. Alterations to original images offered from Silhouette America could constitute an "original" modified design if the alterations are significant enough. If the image is not recognizably taken from the original art, then there is no problem with such use. Alternately, it is permissible for individuals to reproduce non-commercially licensed images offered by our company or its licensors made with the Silhouette for any individual, organization, or event so long as it is not with the intent of re-sale purposes.
