Penny Slider Birthday Card

Here is my version of a penny slider birthday card.

I took a piece of green textured card stock, folded in half, and I cut the slit using my Silhouette Cameo.

I used to use a Popsicle stick as my guide, which has the perfect dimensions for this, but I learned to draw one using my Silhouette. I then cut out a cake file and adhered it to the penny.

I printed the inside of the card using a sentiment from the Silhouette online store, with a black gel pen in my Cameo machine.

I then filled in some of the words with a gold gel pen.

I added some candles (also from the Silhouette online store).

I added a phrase (also cut out with my Cameo), and some rhinestones. This is the finished card.

Here is a great video that can help you get started with your own slider cards.

Thank you for visiting my blog
and I hope it inspires you to create your own wonderful projects.

Hi Roxy...what a fun card. Love your design and the Penny Slider style. I have never made one and looks like fun and not to difficult once I saw the Tutorial. Thank you for sharing. Big Hugs, AntoinetteT
